My friend just bought a 400ex and I need to keep up to him. I want either a Z400 or a 300ex. I know the Z400 outperforms the 400ex and it would be a good choice. The 300ex is a Honda and I know they are reliable. I don't know anything about Suzuki and want your opinions. The only reason I am not going for a 400ex is that it doesn't have reverse.

The plus side to a 300ex is that they are older machines and I can find them cheap. Z400 are more expensive[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] So what do you guys think?

 

wats up mean, i looked at the honda 400ex before i got my z400 and i did like it but the z400 is better but it also cost a little more, and you will **** all over your freind on his 400ex i am tellin you that rite now. if you get the 400ex you'll like it and if you get the Z you love it. and it doesnt matter what kind of riding you do the z is all round better, good luck.

 

i actually dont think the z is better if it at. it has SLIGHTLY more power stock and is slightly tippier

 

Well I asked for a comparison between the 300ex and the z400, not the 400ex or the z400.

But anyways, I think I'm going with a 300ex. I just found two good deals. They can be found in this thread. Check out my 2nd post.

I have no idea how old you are, but you will outgrow a 300ex very quick.

 

I'm 16 years old (goign on 17 in November) and am 165pounds last time I checked. I'm about 6 feet tall. I know I'll outgrow a 300ex quickly, but it has reverse and there really is no other option.

 

SLIGHTLY???? TIPPIER??? What are you, SLIGHTLY high??? Neither quad is tippy at all!!! With all those quads in your list that you have "owned", one would think you would be a little better informed. Maybe you should actually ride a Z before you bash it. Are you sure you've never "owned" one of those also, and just forgot.............
