The guy who hopes you sink is a d!ck. I just hope you try it, sink or skip. If you go for it, please videotape it so we can all share in your fun (or misery).
I hope you sink, and one of those Florida aligators bites your ***! Dumbass!

I did a small, flooded section of creek. Its not as much fun as on a sled.

No, you dont really need to be a afraid. The first few times brace yourself a bit till you get a feel for it and just remember to keep it wide open that's about it.

For some of the people running smaller or slower quads no need to bum you can try too same rules apply. I Had a friend who skipped an old 125 sporttraxx and I've skipped at less than 50mph with out too many problems it really just comes down to knowing your quad.

Keep it fun and fast

1. dont do it alone.
2. make sure you can swim in REALLY cold water
3. wear something to guard the family jewels in case you encounter that 'sudden' stop! hehe
4. take pictures!

By the way it's fun in the summer too. I skip mostly in the summer (not much of a cold weather rider way to much snow here in Minnesota)

I've seen it done on Cr500's with paddle tires on "Crusty Demons of Dirt". Its really sweet. They were tapped out in 5th gear rollin'! They were clutching the crap out of it towards the end to keep the rpm's up. And yes they did show one of them sink it.

Don't cry like a little girl just 'cause nobody thought your stupid comments were funny and you don't have any water for miles around that you can skip across. Either contribute to the topic or shut your hole!
