WATER SKIPPING
Hasnt anyone seen the real tv episode where a guy does this on his banshee? It is a huge puddle in what looks like the dunes, and they show him hitting it fast and skipping over the water, and he keeps moving out further and going farther. Then on one of the tries, he turns the wheel a little and it catches the water and his bike flips a bunch of times and he ends up getting hurt. It was pretty cool until he crashed, just try to catch reruns of real tv, they are on all the time around here.

WATER SKIPPING
Back many years ago (here I go again revisiting the old days) when Kawasaki first introduced the Tecate 4, there was a promotional video they played at a Shreveport dealership I visited. I have never forgotten a small clip of that video where a Tecate 4 rider skips across a creek sideways at full speed.
On the video, if I remember correctly, he pitches the quad sideways just at the water's edge and hydroplanes all the way across without ever slowing down.
Like I said, I never forgot that and always wondered how difficult that was to do, or if it was even possible.

WATER SKIPPING
Just as others have stated, it is very possible to water skip as long as you can keep your speed up. I've gone nearly 100 feet on my DS650 and wasn't even bogging down at the end. If my 500 lb pig can skim across water, most other sport quads should have no problem doing it either!!!
