Quadmaster and Quadrunner difference????

Quadmaster and Quadrunner difference????
HI that is a good question. I an currently looking at a used 2001 500 and can not see much difrence between the two. I know the master has a longer wheel base ......is this the only diference?????

I believe the differences are in the transmissions...
The Quadmaster uses a belt, CVT to maintain a proper gear ratio.
The Quadrunner uses a foot operated gearshift, and automatic clutch, for the operator to manually select the proper gear ratio.

Believe or not...I downloaded this back in 2001 when I purchase my 2001 QuadRunner. Still have the file. LOL!!
Sold the ATV to my father-in-law...and he still owns it today. It's been a ROCK solid machine!!
