Which tires would be the best for trailriding on a z250. Im deciding between the Maxxis RAZR, RAZR 2, or ITP Holeshots. Which ones are the lightest. Which is the thoughest and has the most traction. Id like the size to be around 20x10x9. They have to be on 9 inch rims and id like them to be 20" Also if their are any other good tires out there id like to hear. Also which grips would you recomend for trailriding. Thanks

 

i have ITP holeshots on my lt230e and i really like them great bite and a smooth ride. they ware as good as any other type of H bar tread(ie:razr razr2 shredder holeshot or holeshot mx) a tire i would try might be fast trekker rears

fast trekkers are the best sport trail tire and they are only $40 each. They are about an inch shorter than the height they list them at.

 

out of all the tires i would probably choose Razr 2 because of their traction. I run 20x11x10" Shredders on my LT250R and they're great for cross country racing or trail riding, but for a good overall cheap tire, the Fast Trekker would be good

 

Titan quit making the fast trackers and ATV tires in 2002. They were having too much problem with them. I had to junk 25 out of 30 Fast Tracker's for holes in the side walls. The last 12 589's I got in they left the steel cable in the beeds out. My tire dist. in IN. got stuck with a catainer of bad tires. Just about all dist. have droped Titan.

 

Definatley go with the RAZR 2's I have a set on my Z400 and there awesome in the trails where I live.

holeshots seem to be stickier. I prefer them to the others listed. I would not but the trekkers. Just my $0.02
