I overheard a Suzuki dealer confirm to a customer that Suzuki is indeed unleashing a liquid cooled, 4 stroke, fuel injected Quadracer 400 sometime in 2000 as a 2001 model. Anyone else hear about this?

I haven't heard anything lately, must go grill my local dealer. Didn't Dirtwheels say there was a rumored 400-500cc sport Suzuki being tested a few months ago? I just wonder if it will fall into the only two classes of sport ATV's the manufacturers seem to cater to: dune riders(Banshee,DS650) or cross-country racers (400ex,KXF250-1). It seems to me the first manufacturer that can build a decent motocrosser, that can easily adapt to both dunes and cross-country, will be the one on top of the heap. EFI sounds sweet though, I hope it happens.
