i'm amazed that even quadzilla riders from back in the day could say that a Z doesnt get beat by much with a banshee. hello? my banshee destroyed them. heck, my 250R will tear them apart as well. and the 450R.. .HAHA... since 1987, the banshee was the second fastest production quad @ 77.7mph. stock. that's a fact. we clocked all of ours. we've owned banshees since they came out.
the zilla was first @ 79-80+mph. does the stock z go that fast...um..let me help you- NO it doesnt. when the zilla was gone, guess what? its a tossup now between banshee, raptor, ds650 for
top speed honors (not acceleration) followed extremely close by the 450s. depending on the rider, climate, elevation conditions and proper jetting accordingly....so why all of a sudden is the banshee downgraded to gettin beat by a Z? i like the Z, but this is pure madness.

You guys are redicoulis ..................... but your right the z is a peice of junk slow rolly polly peice of grap. Yep, just a liquad cooled 400ex.
Can you say i am a Dumbass. real slow. Obvisouly you guys dont have real expeirence drag racing a z with a moderatly good driver.

 

I have had the same experience with my piped z and my friends piped banshee. the only thing is he also has a milled head on the banshee and we trade wins all day long but the track is a whole different story

 

i ride a z400, and it is not a rolly polly peice of junk you bias dumass. You obviously havent rode one or you would know they are a decent bike. What do you call Gust's bike? Your just jealous that a suzuki is winning all the races. If you arent dragging then the suzuki is great. It has tons of power and it is one of the best all-around bikes you can get. So if you hate me now then thats great. I don't cut down on other bikes so i get mad when i see braggers like you who have to be all macho. Isn't riding about fun anyway? Not who can brag the most................wow!......feels good to get that off my chest.

 

I think the banshee would win but banshees are ugly and they look like big bugs and they have had the same look for over a decade

what was bombadier or however you spell it, what were they thinking when they made the ds650? it is so weird looking. i would never buy one cuz they look too bulky

 

Its close but a Banshee just edges out the Z-400! because its a two stroke and Yamaha is all speed!
