Yeah, thats for sure. Makes me nervous riding on other people's trails. I remember hearing about a guy in NY who got decapitated while going through a field on a snowmobile. He thought it was just a snowdrift in the middle of the field so he just kept on going, but it turned out there was a barbedwire fence under the drift.

Its pretty sick that people would set traps for people but nobody should go flying across a feild that they dont know. I learned this the hard way when i was doing about 80 across a field at night. And all the sudden I was in the air a split second later the front of my sled slamed into the frozzen bank of an iregation ditch. Luckely ther was a tiny lip at the first edge that gave me alittle air and it was almost completly drifted over. i landed about 50 or 60 yards from my sled, witch now had two skis bent up at a 45 degree angle, broken motor mounts, shatered belly pan, ripple tunnle and broken just about every thing else to. I didint have any major injuries but did have bruses in my thighs for a couple of mounths from the handel bars. Now I check a feild out before I do a hot lap.

it's kinda a thing i stumbled apon for 300 bucks, that the people were gonna literly drag in the woods and leave it there. so i said , no not a suzuki i will give ya 450, and they ya don't want it. so i said 300 and i picked it up.

im a firefighter/emt-b in upstate ny, a few years ago we where disbatched to a snowmobile accident to a trail i rode alot, i hadnt that year do to sickness but the owner of the land the trail was on decided to build a barbwired fence and add elec. to it not a normal cow fence but a elec. fence to keep people out of placed or in with 20K volts a kid was riding his sled and hit it at 100+ he died from decapataition and it didnt help he was electracuted, so was on of the other emt's on scene the owner is in prison for double homacide
