i dont own a quad but i am looking at the z400 cause of all the good facts i hear bout em i know that there is 2 other names i see that look identical in performance! are the other brands bodies better cheaper parts for some name brands? your help is needed and thanked

 

Yes there are 3 versions os the Z400
Kawasaki has the KFX400'
Arctic Cat has the DVX 400

They are the same in prices except for the DVX. The DVX has like 7 different fender color options available and looks a bit sportier then the KFX and Z. The DVX also has a different seat. They are all the same in perfromance.

 

I would imagine that some of the DVX parts are more expensive. Also, the body parts being different might cause something like after market body parts or graphics kits to not work on the DVX. For that reason, I think I would stick with the Zuki or Kawi.....

 

yea i know i dont hear much about the arctic cats. so now it is down to the kawi and the zuki!ummm i know they are identical in performance is one more mechanically sound? i have heard that the frame on the zuki is not to strong and sometimes needs to be re-inforced, does the kawi have this problem?

 

I would assume that both of the frames are exactly the same. Getting gussets put on the frame might be a good idea if you plan on doing a lot of jumping.

 

The Z is an all around sound quad, i was told that the frame weakness was resolved in 04 but if u want a truly awesome quad wait for the TRX450R, i want and have only had my Z for 5 months.
