Default Quadracer rear shock - rebuildable?

I just spoke to Jeremy at www.mx-tech.com. He qouted me $130-140 for a rebuild including the parts that will most likely need to be replaced. I want to replace the spring as well and he said that would be another $89. He did not recommend revalving it because he said this shock is pretty basic and there is not much that can be done.

www.mx-tech.com is a reputable honest company who treated me right. I'll go back to them for future work.

Other shock service can be had at:

www.factoryconnection.com
www.moto-pro.com
www.pro-action.com

Their prices seem reasonable but I have not done business with them.
