heelgaurds and spark arrestor
#2
I didnt remove the spark arrestor, but i did take off my heel guards. Man i gotta take a picture. My quad looks so cool now. but there are problems if you take it off. 1- the mudguards rub into the plastic and leave it stained brown and it takes alot of work to get it out. 2- the mudguards also scratch the powdercoat off the bar thing behind the footpegs. I reccomend that you get them powdercoated or do what i did- Put 2 whole cans of spray paint on it and then about 1/2 a can of clear coat. It works really good and i havent had any problems. Also the last problem is the little bracket things that the mudguards screw into will look bad. I cut them off with bolt cutters, but if you have a grinder thing, you should use that. Then i made them match my nerf bars. I took black dog collars so i could use the nylon for webbing. It looks really good. I hope i get my film developed soon. 04 SUZUKIZ250 took his off too ask him too

I took my spark arrestor out of my Z. Now it actually sounds mean. And the heelguards off make the quad look a lil more sportier. Just the plastic is a little more flimsy. I am also cutting the part where the heelguards bolt into the plastic.
