A Warrior is no match for a quadracer even in stock form, neither is a 400ex. Top speed is going to be different according to the mods, gears and tire sizes. I have not clocked my bike yet, but I would say between 75 to 80 mph, mine also is not stock and I run diffent gearing. Two stroke bikes are harder to control when doing a wheelie, but it can be done, just takes some practice. You have to make it come up, which is nice, cause while the thumpers are trying to keep the front end down, you are scurrying away. HAHAHA. It's always nice to win. My brothers Banshee has FMF pipes, jetted, air box lid removed, K&N filter, minor stuff done, and my LT will stay right along side him till he hits 6th and I am topped out in 5th, he will pull away but not my much. The lt will be much more inpressive than the warrior. In `87 my friend bought a warrior, I bought a lt250. I every situation I could beat him. The 2-stroke is harder to ride wheelies on. I never thought the warrior was all that easy to ride wheelies on either. The lt`s power comes on and its hard to not go over backwards. Keep your foot near the brake petal and you will have a great time mastering wheelies.

I have a 89' lt250r with a lrd pipe and silencer,and i have a gps compass that tells speed
(i tested the speed in my car to make sure it works right)I tapped it to my handle bars and rode
down my road(dont try this a home)when i looked
at it i was at 77-78 but that when i started clutching it and slowing down,i couldn't read it when it was at top speed because the handle bars were shacking so much.

I just got a 91 Lt250r about a month or so ago. Its got an fmf pipe and silencer on it, it is actually a rather good handling quad. I rode it for about a week , on and off, then i started to get into it a little more, just to get use to it. The engine is .020 over with delta reed valves, and a unifilter. I know my bike will walk all over a warrior, easily. It pulls the front end in third gear, and when in 6th the front end is bobbling. The delta reeds made the powerband wider and smoother, its not a big hit now. If i were you i wouldnt be scared of getting an LT. Just look it over good, and make sure the tranny and clutch is in good shape, and no bearing noises in the engine, and check the frame real good!!!! I think the stock suspension sucks on these bikes, and thats why alot of the earlier frames come up with stress cracks. I would say try to get the newest racer you can find, or if you already have one in mind, inspect the frame around the motor mounts and the main frame tubes, and around the a-arms. The frame is probably the weakest link on these bikes.
