a local dealer has two used lt80 for sale. the first one is an 89 for $1100, the second is an 91 for $1400. both look to be in good condition with normal wear. do these prices sound fair. what kind of things should I look out for when I check them out closer. thanks in advance.

That's what they go for here. That sounds fair. I would buy the one without modifications and with the most paint still left on the bottom of the frame and a-arms. Those bikes will most definately be on the original belt, so the one with the shortest, widest belt, has been driven less.

Prices sound fair and inline. I just picked
up a 1992 for $1,450.00.

Okay, I guess I got a good deal. I just got a 1999 Lt80 with approx. 10 hours on it for $1750.00 + $300.00 misc. charges, less $100.00 safety course rebate, less $200.00 worth of accessories for a total of $1750.00.

The bike was used as a riders safety course quad and still carries the original 6mo. factory warranty with an extedned warranty option.

We all get lucky every now and then.

Just bought a 1999 LT80 in excellent condition (less than 10 hours) for $1800. I'm happy.
