Default Squeaking Breaks

I was just wondering what was causing, and how to fix the squeaking breaks on my buddies Z400, i know that its coming from the rear breaks, and it doesnt seem to be getting better.

I dont know if ther is a way to fix the squeaky breaks on the z mine used to do it when i first got it but now that I have a ton of miles on it they do not squeak anymore. but this is a common problem.

The problem is most likely the brake pads themselves. About the only thing that you can do is go get some better brake pads, and throw the old ones away... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

Default Squeaking Breaks

It happened to me too when I first got mine. It went away now, its been almost 5 months. What I did while it was happening though is I just applied the break and drove the quad down the road with the break on, it worked at the time.
