Hope you get it sold! Why you would buy a quad, spend $1200 fixing it and then selling it is beyond me. Heck, you aren't making a dime on the deal! I think this needs to be math class, not english. Here is some math that I like:

1)I bought in a '99 300trx 4x4(big **** mud bike) for $900 in June , it had a bad timing chain and some other odds and ends. I spent $50 on a timing chain, $20 on a new right hand cover gasket, and about $50 on other odd and end things. I sold it for $2000. I also got to ride it around for a month and go to one of the biggest mud rides of the year(check my website for pics and vids). Now I am not trying to brag, just show you what **good** math is.

2)3 weeks ago I bought a '87 quadzilla with about $2500 of mods on it(DR cylinder, powerhead, etc) for $800. It has some nagging issues like missing bolts and it needs to be jetted. It came with a spare engine($250), 40mm Lectron carb($81), 7-bolt head, 36mm PWK, 40mm PWK, Paul turner pipe/silencer, Dynoport drag pipe, spare set of tires/rims and other crap I can't think of off the top of my head. So far I have sold more than $600 worth of stuff off of it. When I get new plastic and front brakes on it I am gonna sell it. Ok, I might be bragging with this one.

My whole point is now lost after all this typing...however if you want anyone to have a shred of respect for you, I would beg a moderator to delete this post.

Were you pointing a gun at the guy at the time you offered him the $800? That is way beyond a good deal.

 

Actually, he was begging me to buy it. He is a kid and at the time it was really loud(he rode it with the exhaust flange not attached...). I had to drive to LA to get it.
