Default Ice racing tire's ---> what should i use

Im looking for a set of ice racing tires to stud up.......i need some advice on what size and what kind Fronts and Backs. Oh yeah, they are going on my 87 Lt500r Zilla.,

Default Ice racing tire's ---> what should i use

the dunlop tires that came stock on the later zillas are coveted as one of the best ice racing tires. the problem is that they are extremely hard to find, and expensive when you do find them. Most of the atv ice racing world runs chen shing c826 ice race tires. with a quadzilla i would recommend the 20" tires and 1/2" kold kutters. experiment with # of studs, as it will make a huge difference. as far as fronts go, many people have been studding up their stock dunlop radials from the suzuki/kawasaki 400s and raptors. most others who buy aftermarket fronts have been running itp holeshots, which should also take 1/2" studs.
