I know the YFZ has electric start. I was just listing the Z's convenient features.

Bad bronco - No, you can't put e-start on a 450R. The engine wasn't designed for it. Maybe Goki will come out with something for people who are too lazy to kick.

I don't own a Suzuki, but I am surprised by the article. My friend and I both have 400exs with open airbox, jetting and aftermarket slipon pipes. In the sand, we raced a stock z400 and would barely edge him out in a 75 yard drag. We all had on sand tires as well. This may sound like bull, but is the truth. With that said, the YFZ450 would flat eat my 400ex for lunch in a drag. So, I guess I am trying to understand why the said the YFZ was only slightly faster than the Z400. This doesn't quite add up.

Please explain.

Sorry guys but they are making an electric start kit for the 450R,,, my buddy has an R ordered from J&J motors to be used for MX and has the kit ordered as well.
He says he would rather live with the few extra pounds to have the electric start....
