Sure, Bill! You love a KQ... As long as it's not yours...
Me, on the other hand, I think it's a great machine. Just gotta figure out how to make it climb that hill at Tin Cup...
Think we're goin' this month.

Now Chuck,
You must admit, after riding the larger CC quads and seeing them bigger more powerful CC 4x4s in action, you'd never be the owner of the smaller CC quads again, regardless of brand?
You jumped into this ATV sport as a first time buyer. With the knowledge of the ATV sport that you NOW have, your NOT going to convince me now that you would buy a KQ again after getting a taste and ride of the bigger CC quads, and im not just talking about my Sportsman and Xplorer either. What about Pauls bigger CC 450s?Theres a big differance between the KQs power and ride in comparison to just about any of the larger CC 4x4s.BTW,what would you buy today with the knowledge of ATVing that you now have?A 500cc 4x4 Zuk?Hey,its allmost countdown time[for our trip]=====Bill

Bill...Ive had my KQ since june of 97.Its the only quad ive ridden other than my wifes 200 four trax.I did ride my brothers SP500 in 96 when it was new in Colorado. But being it was his i didnt ride it as much as i would of liked. But this time in Idaho i rode it just about everyday and put noless that 30 miles on it at a time.I loved the power and just had a great time.I think in a few years its gonna be a Polaris.Im not putting the KQ down at ALL.I like it and the places it takes me.But...Thier aint nothing like giveing the gas to the Sportsman and releasing all that power...BOB

Ecorman1, I will send you the information I have later tonight, difficult to do at work.
Tym, I agree a web page would make some of this easier but haven't yet found the time to look into it. I could always make a CD up of the info I have and send it to someone who already has a web page (hint, hint).
I will look into the web page it should be an interesting sideline.

OK Bill! We're back from the trip and I still say, my KQ and I are gettin' along just fine. The difference in power isn't that great to me. I don't need to go faster than everybody else. All though I like your comfortable quad a great deal, I prefer my five speed tranny with four wheel lock. Oh! Thanks for lettin' me pull you outta that hole Bill. Now I owe you one less... :0)

Yes, Eric, right now... Some of our riders backed out of going to the Poker Run, one day before leaving. But that didn't stop the rest of us.
We arrived in Upper Michigan, about 2:00 p.m. Thrusday 13. Hulbert, is the town where everyone met and start point. Our hosts, Audria, ***le and Brian, were very accommodating and gave maps to all the riders as we arrived. On the map, were marked ten different merchants for each of us to go and get our maps stamped to show we were indeed at that location. Bill Ciliberti and I had two riders (4 total) with us already and we teamed up with another foursome to make the challenge and help each other. Friday, the eight of us went to the casino, on our quads. Man! You should have seen the people and authorities watching us guys riding up on quads to the casino. Yeah, the quads were cleaner than we were. But we had a good time there.
Saturday, was do or die day. We hit the trail about 9:45 a.m. and did about 180 miles by 5:00 p.m. when we finished. (Some of the 180 miles was logged from the previous two days). Most of the trails were two track or wide enough for truck traffic but when we ran into ruff terrain, it was no picnic. Some of the smaller quads, two wheel drive, low ground clearance, were getting stuck in mud and water. Everybody chipped in to help pull others out. It was a real team effort and I was really tired at the end of the day. We didn't win the Poker Run but man did we have fun in the sun. It was sunny and 75 degrees every day. The people were great and I got to meet alot of U-ppers (Up Northerner). One of the highlites was when we ran into an area where there were a series of bridges to cross. Each bridge crossed a river and they had to be at least 50 years old. No service on any and if not experienced, you could fall thru the openings. If we can get somebody to scan in the pictures, we'll post them for you to see. I'm definitely planning on going back next year. Hope we get just as many, if not more riders. It is awsome up there. Bill, you got anything to add?
Chuck, Suzuki KQ 300 (I love it!) GPS (Came in very handy!) Didn't have to take the lunch...
Thanks for askin', Eric.
