NEWBI with LT250 ?'s
Guys hope all is well.
First off I would like to thank all of you for all the great info I have found here thus far. However I am having have some trouble searching out the information I require..
I just recently purchased an 88 250 quadracer from a buddy of mine. It is in very good condition, and the motor has been rebuilt within the last year. However this is still stock. I want to make this into a good trail quad and dune runner.
I haven't been able to find much info on the web as far as hop ups are concerned, so there is where I need your help. I understand the frames are not the best on these. I am a big guy 5'10 260 LB. is there something I can do to help this issue?
I also figure longer A-arms and axle are a good idea. My buddy upgraded the front shocks to works shocks, but the rear is still stock.
Lastly, I would like to do some motor mods. Maybe a big bore kit and some porting and polishing. Can any of you recommend a place to get these done? Money is an issue, however not a huge one... So, please share any and all info...
Any information you feel I missed please feel free to add your 2 cents. I look forward to the summer, when I have a chance to possibly meet some of you!
Thanks!
Austin

Not to steel your post, but I am a newbie LT250 owner as well and have a couple questions that may be appliable too.
1. What is the best size rear tires to run for trail riding? Stay with the stock 22x11x10? I am assuming I have stock sprockets as well.
2. Front shocks look pretty sad, what are economical replacement options?
Thanks
Brad
