hey, sorry for the newbie question here... I recently just bought this engine:

I have an 86 LT250r, I have a stator for it, but I don't know what that cover it's missing is called, therefore I don't know what to search for to find one for it. Can anyone help me and let me know where I can find one? new or used, doesn't really matter. If you happen to have one send me an e-mail and let me know how much you want for it.

mostly its called the stator cover or search for side cases

Its sometimes referred to as the Magneto cover, or mag cover also.

 

Thanks guys, I kind of figured it was called a stator cover, but I couldn't find anything online that mentioned it and I didn't want to walk into a shop and sound like an idiot in case they would try to rip me off because of it.
