I finally finished them, I added a Supertrapp IDS Quiet Series exhaust with all 12 discs installed, and a K&N ATV power kit, I don't think I have the jetting quite right yet, but I e-mailed dynojet to see what their recommendations are. I havn't had a chance to get it out on the trail or in the mud yet but I took it for a blast down the driveway. 96' 22 mph then I had 15 feet to stop or go through the back of the garage, It was a little scary stopping all 605lbs of the machine and 205lbs of me at the same time, there are only skid marks where I stopped for about 10'. I hope the power will be better when I get the jetting right, for now I am running a 122 Main the clip on the second position of the needle and the mixture screw 2 and 1/2 turns out. I will update the post when I get the jetting complete and post a picture of the skidmarks in the garage.
I forgot to mention this is on a 99 KQ

How's the sound level of the Supertrapp compared to the stock muffler?

It is a little bit louder and deeper, there is not much of a noticable difference. It is tunable if you remove discs it will be quieter.

Thanks. I often drive into areas I consider to be sensitive with wildlife so in my case the quieter the better. I've considered adding the available silencer and probably will, but the Supertrapp's tuneability is something to consider.

Im glad to hear you have got all of it put on your quad.I have been looking for a post from you on the progress and how the performance is.I was going to put a Supertrapp woodsman series exhaust on my 97 KQ,But i found out two weeks after ordering it that Dennis Kirk doesent carry it no more.Im looking to put the ids pipe on now. Did your pipe come with the header pipe or just the rear part of it.Im also going to try to get away from haveing to rejet the carb.My mechanic said i may be abel to do this since the pipe is disc tuneable,Since you have already finished this mod what do you think. Good luck with the mods....Bob

It comes with only the rearend of the pipe. The hardest part of installation was removing the gasket from the old exhaust because you need it to install this exhaust. The instructions say that 6 discs is approx stock air flow, and therefore jetting may not be required.
