CHAIN LUBE

CHAIN LUBE
Nothing but WAX! The O-ring chain is PERMANENTLY LUBED INTERNALLY with white grease. The O-rings are there to hold the grease in. The wax is just used to keep the O-rings supple. WD-40 is light and will slip past the O-ring and ruin the grease inside. "Wet" lubes will attract dirt and become grinding paste, and destroy the O-rings.

CHAIN LUBE
Ok i have a question. I have a brand new 2004 Z400. I took it out for a ride and when i got back i washed it. Then i rode it into my garage.I looked at it the other day and noticed that the chain was starting to rust. Anyone have any idea why?If this is a self lube chain why is it rusting?Does i need the wax also?
