I'd love to see the Eiger or Vinson come and be the King of My mountain!!! Also, why would the Sportsman 500 not be able to hang with that group???????? Its faster than the Honda, has 2wd/4wd seletability!! Will outperform ANY of them in the mud, the SP500HO should take all of them in speed!!! Will easily DEVASTATE all in the rock climbing and rides alot more comfortable??? FUN is in the eyes of the riders!!! For me I don't care which is the "FUNNEST" to ride, I'm more into where it can go!!! So for me DIFF LOCK is VERY IMPORTANT!!! The POLARIS will in fact GO where the others MENTIONED CANNOT!

The eiger won the 400 shootout, too!!
They said that the vinnie won the "king of the mountain" shootout, and say that the reason for the "delightful feel of the Zuke is due to a team of engineers who understand that atvs need to be fun to ride,"
"The zook is so well put together that it had testers clamoring to try it on most of the trails we rode!"

The editors didn't understand it either. They felt the sportsman would hold its own but we will never know.
Your right FUN is in the mind of the rider. Some machines inspire confidence in some riders and scare the heck out of others. But really, aint we all out there having fun?
I'd love to come down to Tellico (wherever it is). My Father-in-law lives outside Knoxville on Tellico lake around Loudon Tenn. Are you close to this? How about that coal creek area, I hear (read) that it is an awsome place.

I believ there are a couple quad pullers on this forum who run Vinnies.
Muddyeiger, not to rub it in but the mud was very sloppy!!!! The snow in the hills wasn't melted yet and the creek was still frozen back in the hills. Rooster tails everywhere you look! The creek crossings were muddy and icy! Man, did we have fun!
BTW you can't beat the Eiger for fun-for-the-dollar.
