tires for eiger

The 586's have that rim guard, or am I thinking of some other tire? That feature seems really attractive, since my rims are dinged up a little now. If JJ54 is correct and they are a smooth ride, then I would definitely lean more towards them.

Hey Guy's, went riding in the snow yesterday, with dan ,jmy buddy with the grizzly. I thought he had 589's on it, but i was wrong. He had a tire called excavator, that he got at the local yamaha shop in lodi. They look alot like mud lites, only there wasn't so much hollowing done in the tread. They really perform, a couple of times i would be spinning and sliding going up a hill. He would just be going straight up. Did we have a blast, it was snowing like crazy, and there was just enough snow on the ground. You didn't have to plow through.

Check out the gators. I use them on my kingquad and there a good tire also. Large deep tred-6 ply-wear like iron. There not to expensive either. Here is a place to see a picture of them--- http://www.tiresnstuff.com/gbc-gator.html
This is a good place to buy them---- http://www.precisionpowersports.com/
