Is the Lt 250R OutDated???

as for the pros using more modern bikes i have no doubt that comes down to sponsorship, no manufacturer would sponser a rider to ride a bike that is no longer produced, smaller sponsers who may make parts for quads are always gona want a rider on the current bike or at least the one that a lot of the public own,

nope. the pros are STILL hanging or beating all the "state of the art 4 strokes". I personally find it amusing that it takes this long for the four stroke high performance quads to beat the old 250r.

for trail ridding yes. you can go much farther with the 4 strokes. electric start and the noise and vibration reduction is on 4strokes nice too.

anyway i like my old Skool, just wish i could have had one when they were new and i was a bit younger,
