Anybody out there who has any old mags, or just remembers back that far, have any idea what the stock HP figures were for the late model LT-250R?????

I am putting an XR350R motor in a '89 250 frame for hill climbing in the 4 stroke class.Just wonder ing if I'm gaining or losing overall HP I know I'm gaining gobs of torque but can't locate HP #'s on those old LT's

I would like to know the same thing too. Also could somebody post numbers for the early and later model LTs? (85-86 and 87-92)

 

If someone does know the HP of the lt250, What about the stock lt500 HP? Anyone know? Someone told me it is around 52 horse at the sprocket on the 500. true?

 

My friend has a dyno sheet for a mildly ported LT500 engine at 68hp. I would guess the LT250 to have 30-35hp
