yeah but the predator sits so much lower to the ground then the z. and that means its alot more nimble then the z. i give the z the fact that it has reverse, but the predator has one of the best stock suspensions you can find.

 

i would go with the predator. its bigger, faster and better handling

 

My buddy has a pred (03) and it was a peice he had blown 4th gear out of it 3 mths after he got it (new)
The ball joints went out of it 8 mths after as well as the frame split along the top section , just in front of the fuel tank....400z is the way to go!

 

I have friends that I have seen just beat the holy crap out of their Z400's and those things seem to keep on going without a prob. Have you seen that TRIP video of all those guys doing wheelies and stopies? I think there is a reason their all riding Z400's. Looks like a well built bike to me, with good power. It's got my choice.

Right on fidge. I dont know how anyone could say the z has less problems than a predator. They both have thier share of problems . Check out the spec sheets on both quads to elp you decide which one would suit you.

the predator is too wide for trails that is the only thing holding it back, the only reason more people arent using polaris as a MX bike is because everyone is so brand picky
