Any Twin Peaks riders out there?

That sure is purdy, but I'm not sure if I like it as much as the Vinson, or even my Eiger in the LOOKS DEPT. ONLY. Although it's a shame there's only an Auto Trans available on the Twin Peaks, that doesn't mean it's not a bad mo fo. Too bad I don't have a spare 7G's laying around... That thing would be the shiznit at the dunes. At the Oregon Dunes there are so many little trails and huge hill climbs, tree trails, water-logged bogs, grassy knolls, etc, all that power would be like a weekend long orgasm.

I have owned aTwin Peeks for 3 weeks and it is even more than I exspected. I traded in a Vinson to get it. The Vinson seems a little under powered to me. The TP sure is a show stopper at every stop on these WV trails. I even had A guy point at me last week as we were heading home. Beleive me it deserves every bit of the attention too! I'm putting ITP Mud Lites and the new ITP rims on it and can't wait to get it back. I might get some wheelie bars too. I just purchased an '04 Twin Peaks 700. I have had it less than 24 hours. I have only riden it from the dealers, garage to the trailer I hauled it home on. It was kind of an impulse buy based up on Suzuki finance incentives. I went in to buy an oil filter for my Honda Rancher and walked out with a Twin Peaks (and an oil filter). I woudl like to talk to some Twin Peaks owners to find out what they like/dislike about this machine. What (if any) adjustments and modifications they would suggest. I am a trail rider and I mostly use it to hunt and fish from. Any assistance would be greatly apprecaited. Thanks in advance.

I just finished my move back to my house in the Wind river mountains of Wyoming and am now in a serious search for a machine. I had thought about something in the 400-500cc range but after reading about everyone's experience with a V twin, I'm leaning that way now. I rode a Kawi Prairie 700 at the dealers in Lander and loved the sound of the engine and the way it easily crawled over a divider curb about 10 inches high. Aside from a Vinson auto at another dealers, and an old Yamaha 300 2WD machine with a grass cutter, I really haven't been on another machine. So, the big question, what is the major differences between the Prairie 700 and the Twin Peaks? And, how good are these big machines in extremely rough terrain? Thanks in advance
