Gear oil in 250

Is this regular oil like 10w-40 or is it that really thick 85w-90 crap that goes in rearends because my Z250 has a solid axle I was just curious.

Gear oil in 250

I think its the 85W-90 stuff. It says to use gear oil, and thats what that stuff is. The 10W-40 is motor oil, so that wouldn't do it.

Gear oil in 250

The specs on the oil are in the owners manual. use SAE#90 hypoid gear oil, rated GL-5.
