was your primary wrapped in tape? mine was when i took the flywheel off. so i dont know how the coils where just flopping around unless it was the colis that run the lights?

all i know is that every person I know who has used ricky stator has been 110% happy so i'd go with the ricky stator rewind or new stator whatever it was you were lookin for versus stock. should be a higher output then stock for obviously less money. He is the name to go with when it comes to stators in atvs and trikes like the lt quadracers and the tecates, 250rs etc.

Default stock or ricky stator

Hi guys, as was stated before, I am 110% happy with my stator that I had rewound from rickystator. I don't remember what I paid, been few years. It wasn't expensive at all though. As far as removing the stator, it was pretty straight forward on my mojave. If you have any questions about how to do it on your quad, I'm sure someone on the forum will be able to help you. Or, ask riskystator, they are very helpful. Lt.Dan

I have the ricky stator in my Zilla and it works fine. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
