It's pretty loud, but I'm used to it now. The pipe really wakes up the bottom end to mid, I can't feel a difference on top. That's why I bought the slip-on. (Joe at HMF said the header makes more HP at the top of the RPM range) But I trail/woods ride, so I just went with the slip-on. I deffenately recommend the HMF.
