I was at the Suzuki dealer today and noticed that between the 3 Vinsons on the showroom, they all had a different endcap on the exhaust. I got home and looked at mine and it is different still. Mine is an '02, and they had '03 and '04 models on the floor. Anyone know what the difference is? The '03 was an auto and the '04s were one of each, auto and 5 speed. Are they using different spark arrestors? The '04s look like a Big Gun tip.

 

the only difference is

02'-had the full metal shroud, hideing away the spark arestor bolts
03'-no shroud
04'-new pipe end, finally welded, the old pre 04's were pulled from the old quad master.

 

Any performance difference between them?

 

dont belive so, mabey the new pipe is a little better, but come on dont leave the stocker on. i took mine off almost as soon as i got the bike, and opted for a HMF(mine will soon to be for sale) as soon as the new ecos come from hmf.
