Location of Vacuum Slide & Needle on Z400?
#1
I bought a used Z400 with a dyno jet. I've ordered and installed bigger jets since I will be running with the air box lid off and I'm at a higher elevation. I want to now confirm there is a dyno needle in the carb and set on the right groove. I'm following the dynojet stage 2 instructions I printed from the dyno website. But I don't know where the Vacuum Slide is to remove to get to the needle. Can someone describe where this is and how to get to it on the Z400?

right in the middle of the carb.
Look at the top, take out those lil screws and the slide will slide out. BE CAREFUL!!!! If you tear the diaphram yer gonna be spending some $$$$$$$$

In the middle on top is a approx 3 inch round black diagram looking thing with four screws holding it on. I guess that is it? I think the best way to get to it is to loosen the carb inlet/outlet boots and twist the carb sideways. Just like I did to get to the bottom to change out the jets. If anyone has any other comments or suggesstions let me know ASAP before I tear into it. I'm anxious to get running again.
Thanks
