What would be the top speed if i put a pipe on it?

 

well i figure about 50mph.u would get more power from a pipe , but it depends on what kind of a pipe . my favorite is cobra , white bro ,and dg megaphone.Jet it for best performance of pipe.Stage 2 would be best for pipe trust me.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Dose white bro make a pipe for the lt 230?

 

Mine did low 50's. A pipe wont change your top speed unless your real big, then you might be lugging it down a bit and the extra HP would help.

 

ripperman says that cobra and dg megaphone are the best but he hasnt seen them in action i have and they are not any good from the results i have seen on them when i put my t4 on my ex i let ripperman ride it and he thought that it gave my ex like 80hp i told him more like 3 or more and he thought i was crazy so i would test some and find some dyno testings if possible and not listen to ripperman im just trying to help

 

i have heard you can get up to 60mph if your size is not too big

 

230 quad sport is excellent all around bike, have fun with it, race it , jump it, have fun, great bike

 

I have a 86 LT250r, and it was clocked at a motorsports park at about 80 somthing a couple of months ago. But i have a lot of shiz-nut done to it and a lot of sweat and hard work into this. From my experience from the 250r . It would probbably be around maybe 60 with a big a@@ pipe, like maybe both header and silencer in this case, if you want a fast toy, i would try to get a LT 250r. They are exelent all around toys, they can climb almost anything you put in front of them, the market for them is really heavy for mods, and they can out run most other 4 wheelers.

156.6368 MPH off a cliff with a tail wind. The 230 quadsport is a excellent trail bike, but If you are worried about top speed sell it and buy a 2 stroke

 

how fast do u think my 1987 lt230 quadsport would go i have a 250 big bore kit dg krome kit jetted 12 39 gearing k&n air filterand thats it i think..... what else is out there that might make it go a lil more faster
