You definately want to run at least 32:1. 20:1 is a waste. You probably have to rejet since your letting more fuel in. Just check your plug. It tells you what it needs.

Slacker is right... You will definitely need to rejet, as changing the mixture really changes jetting. IMHO MC-1 is a decent oil, but not the best out there... especially since there are some really really good synthetics now.

20:1 is a waste, and was intended to be used with the old dino oils of yesteryear.. technology has evolved.

Good luck!

anybody have any idea of what jets i should start with?i live in ohio, fmf goldseries pipe, uni silencer and filter,no airbox lid, and a keihin pj carb
how many turns out on the air screw should it be at?i thought it was the idle and accadently messed with it.

Your going to just ahve to test things. The air screw will be in the 1.5-2 turns out range. Run the quad with whatever jet you have, youll just run a little rich, and then check your plug.

If you have never jetted, I suggest finding a friend that can and show you how.
