Default Eiger oil filter wrench size

Besides buying the tool referenced in the service manual to change the oil filter does anyone know the wrench or socket size I can use out of my tool box.

Nevermind. The repair manual showed a tool to take the filter off and it looked like the filter had a nut on the end. Did not realize the tool was a "cap with a nut" to take the filter off with. Picked one up at the local dealer, some oil, filter and did the first oil change. Simple as changing a baby's diaper.

I drove a screwdriver thru it and twisted it off.

I guess that's one way of doing it For $4 I wasn't going to sweat it and my screwdriver will thank me.

I agree 100% The dealer is an hour awy and I didn't have the tool or the time. I guess I could have checked wally world but thats also a good drive. There's nothing within a half hour of me. I generally get what I need long before I need it but I thought I had a wrench to fit. This is a good trick tho.
