I'm currently 15 and my first car is gunna be a 95 dodge dakota with the 317 v8. I gunna dual it out and leave the rest stock except maybe a k@n filter. Its got a 6 disc changer in it too. You can see a pic of it in my profile.

I may be wrong, but you can buy crate 454's and buy the bolt patterns to the truck! But i haven't the slighest clue why you would want to do that? When youcan spend a little more $$ and buy a brand new 502/502 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

My point was that you cant order that engine in that truck. Its either the 8.1 or the 6.0. There is no 7.4 option. That engine was gone with the sierra/ck classics.

right now i am driving a 98 dodge dakota club cab 4x4. and for all the people that crack on dodges they are better than some people say they are.I am planning on lifting it 3" right now and maybe 6 more in a year or two. And before i had this i had a 1986 toyota 4x4 pick up and just to start off the 4wd didn't work the carb. was crap, and i had to rebuild the engine which all sunk me down to$2500 in fixing things not counting what i payed for it.
