i weelie my z and i do it a lot but after i set it down after about 1/2 a mile and stop i can smell gas. i looked in the air filter and i could smell gas in there, felt air filter. my thought was that it was leaking out the carb bowl into the filter. is this normal or is there something wrong

 

if the bike is tilted far enuff gas will start coming out of theover flow tube..... this right under your seat.

 

yep,,,,,you bowl float may need to be adjusted,,,,is it also leaking from the overflow on the carb???

 

You actually wheelie this thing for 1/2 mile continuous before you "set it down"? Damn dude, maybe you should join a stunt team!

 

Hey dude i wheelie my z 400 for a long time and i dont get that gas smell at all i would get it looked at if you cant find the problem

 

i think its just coming out my overflow tube b/c today i was doing the same thing, but on reserve and i never oncegot the gas smell. it only happens when my tank is full. thanks for the help
