Default QUADZILLA PART #'S

i need a part number for a 1990 quadzilla 2nd gear, can anyone help?

i searched on bikebandit.com and i got a number 487994-001 but i dont know if thats just there reference number or a proper suzuki reference,

i realy want to get a move on and get some riding on my zilla, my local dealer whos doing the rebuild has been waiting months for one to turn up from suzuki, aparently it has to be sent from japan,

theres a chance i can get one in the UK if i can get the part#

please help

hey uk when i rebuilt my trany i called this number 1-800-860-0686 this is suzuki direct part house they know whats going on and good prices give them a call.

its no good for me as im over in the UK,

i found a suplier for parts for classic bikes and stuff here in the uk, they hold stocks of stuff that arent comonly available any more,

just want to be sure im enquiring about the right part when i give them a ring iin the morning,

nothing like hitting the nail on the head and giving them a proper part number,


thanks for the advise tho, and im sure it will be usefull to others on the board

Default QUADZILLA PART #'S

Try here Link. Select your year, then when it puts up the menu choose transmission, select your gears and you have to put a number in the quantity box and it will show the part numbers in your shopping cart. It shows a drive and driven gear.

24221-43B00. This is the part number for 2nd gear fo 1990 LT500RL. Got this from www.suzukipart.com Check it out they have online microfiche. There price is $56.29
I have used there part numbers at local suzuki dealer and they matched.

thanks guys,
i tried the part suplier and they dont have any they checked the microfische so its back to square 1 for now,

ill see whats hapening with the guys who are doing the rebuild if theres still no joy i might try and get one shipped form over your way,

I always used bikebandit.com's numbers and took them to the dealer and they are the same as Suzuki's......
