Z400 - Need New Handlebars
On my last trip before hitting the ten hour mark, I did a cartwheel on my bike. Luckily it wasn't bad at all, it just bent the handlebars a little bit. I've been looking around, seen a couple renthals here and there. Any recommendations? Any good particular place to buy them from?
BTW, I found that my thumb gets continuosly sore hitting the throttle while I ride. Could some new bars possibly be more comfortable in terms of that?
Thanks!

I have Renthal bars on my Z400, and I really like them. I like the positioning of them better than the stock bars. Also, everything fit onto them pretty easily. I had to drill one hole in them for the assembly that has the starter, lights etc. This was no big deal.
Also, you mentioned your thumb not being comfortable. I just bought a Z250 for my son. I purchased a "throttle extender" for him. It is basically a bracket that fits over the standard throttle lever, and extends it. It feels kind of weird to me, because I am not used to it. He and my wife seem to like this though. I think that it is made by Moose. Cost me about $15 at the dealer.

Azonics, Azonics, Azonics, I'll say it one more time for good measure, AZONICS!!!!!!!! Renthal meets Pro Taper, double wall big bar design with, get tyhis, a cross bar. These things are extremely strong. I think you could roll your quad off a 50 foot drop, the bars would be the only thing unharmed. $90 through Rockymountain and another $57 for a nice big bar clamp. It's worth it!!!!!!
