Quadzilla
#1
I recently bought a 1990 Quadzilla and am extremely happy with the power. This thing is a monster. Now my Banshee is for sale! Anyway, is anyone else out there a 'zilla fan? I am new to the board, so here's my question: what should my cylinder compression be? I am going to buy a tester, and will be using this as a guage for rebuilds... Thanks

Yes i have an 87 Quadzilla. I also bought the manual direct from Suzuki $60 with shipping. I will check the manual out and let you know the compression.
Just make sure you tighten the bolts on the bike after a couple rides. I have lost some bolts here and there while ridin.

Hey addictedtomud i just wanted to see why you got rid of the banshee. My friend has a98 banshee and i ride it sometimes. But i don't ride it enough to make a good judgement between the two bikes. What did you like and not like about the 2 bikes???

The reason my Banshee is for sale is because the Quadzilla has killer torque and bottom end power. I ride log roads and woods and the banshee does really well in this environment (contrary to popular opinion). But, I love to climb hills and the banshee is unforgiving. If you get in trouble on the hill and have to let off the throttle, you are done! The banshee does not have the low-end power to get back on the gas and over the top. Sure, you can slip the clutch, but that lightswitch powerband will kick in and flip you over. I really like the banshee, but the 'zilla just plain has more *****. P.S. I know the banshee is more nimble and narrow, but I dont really race anyone when I'm trail riding, so 'handling' is not as important to me as hill shooting ability.
