You Main Jet is at the bottom of the Carb. To change it: 1. remove carb from intake box tube, and intake boot (leave throttle cable attached) 2. shut off fuel, and open the very bottom most screw to drain any fuel left in the bowl. 3. remove the four bolts at the bottom of the bowl, and remove bowl. be careful as the float and needle and set pivot pin can fall out easily and the needle and seat can drop out also. 4. use a 8mm wrench to hold the Main jet set nut and use a flat head screwdriver to remove main jet. There are numbers on the flat head slot side of the main jet. make sure not to get any dirt into the carb when you do this.

I would reccommend that you buy several main jets prior to this (or borrow some from a friend) so that you can try differnt sizes and have fun.

Well guys, the Silver lake Trip was awesome!!! The bike ran very strong (a little lean on the top) but very strong. The gearing made a huge difference. the AMS Aerospeed paddles are too big for it, going up the dunes was a trick as the RPMs would drop to easily and I would be down shifting. I pretty much stayed in 2nd and 3rd the whole weekend. there was not a 200cc bike on the dunes that could keep up with me. I am still a little behind the 400's in raw power on the dunes but the way it pulled I would say with my razors on dirt I could run with the best of them. Anyone building another LT I not reccommend using a 12.5:1 piston. it is too much! I kicked my leg off!! Saturday evening coming across the dunes with it pegged 4th (way fast!!) i jump a small dune landed and it stalled, after kicking for an hour I gave up and got a nice guy to pull start me with Recon. It started and ran for a 100 yards and stalled. The best I can figure is that I sheared the flywheel key again. What a blast!!! I would have APP build me another engine in a heart beat!
