I was riding earlier today and i came home for a break, I turned the atv off and then my bro decided he wanted to ride it. when he went to kickstart it, he was giving it a litttle gas as usual, but the thing back fired and now it wont start. Im looking for any advise, though the spark plug did seem kinda black when i looked at it, Im not good at reading plugs but could this be the problem. Thanks alot.

not a expert but it sounds like your timing take the cover off of your stator and see if you may have sheared a pin
