well i started my rebuild last night.biggest pain in the ****.i twisted two base studs off.the little ones in the front outside.the torque wasnt more than 6 lbs.i half assed rigged two studs back in there.if they dont hold im gonna drill out the hole on the cases and put a good hard steel bolt through it with a tap locktighted on the bottom.i havnt done a leakdown test yet.probably will leak at the base gasket since i had to take off and retightin the cylinder on it 3 times and three holes for the bolts are torn on the outside..anybody else have these darn studs twist off??
