What was the stock horsepower from the factory??

The 87s knocked down a few more peak HPs than the 88+, but you can always figure somewhere from the high 40s, to the low 50s. Bearing in mind, this is a 2-stroke, and the stock carb, pipe,induction are severely limiting its power. I have seen a internaly stock Zilla with carb, reeds and pipe lay down 65hp.

Wow, I just saw a pic of you Tecate, thats a super clean looking bike. Congrats on owning the fastest production 250cc quad ever made.

Yar, the 87's had a larger reed cage, and from what I've read it dumped to much unburnt fuel into the ozone.....Causing global warming has never been so fun!!
