Through a search I found that on some of the honda 250r guys were using a ball joint off of a ford courier or something like that. said it cost half as much but was the same joint.
Is there an equivalent thing for the LT250R?

I'll be taking them off later this month to replace and I'll do some looking around to find out if any industrial/automotive ones will work...I'll let you know if I find anything.
Was hoping someone else had figured it out...so back to the top.

No luck so far. Looks like it will be $$$factory parts.
I removed the balljoint and took all the necessary measurements with a micrometer and scoured the internet for a couple days. Appears that no one makes one exactly like it (the shoulder presents a problem as does the indentation/retainer groove on the vertical part of the joint that goes into the knuckle). I could probably modify one by welding on shoulders and grinding in the groove but that is alot of work for something that may not set my camber exactly where it was stock.
Also, all the aftermarket A-arm manufacturers I have seen say you have to use the stock lower balljoints (they dont' sell any replacements)
BUMMER!
PS IF anyone figures out another option post it here to let us know.
