pro circuit slip on on Z question

lol most slip on will go on with out rejet. some may not. you need to put the pipe on before saying it will or wont need it.

IMO there would be absolutely no reason to change the exhaust if you did not need to rejet. The point is to get more air so that you can get more gas. If you open up the exhaust so that more air can go through you will not make any gains until you put more gas through. You get optimal performance at "x" air + "y" fuel= "z" HP. If you"x+2" air, You must "y+2" fuel, then that will=HP+2.

makes sence in a way but look its not a big improvement to put a slip on on your machine. people thing its noticable power it is more power and it sounds different so therefor you feel like you added 100 hp on a machine that one has mid 20s for hp stock. Reality is that a slipon pipe on the dyno ive seen it with my own eyes at the dealership That I work at they just give such a small improvement that most times they dont need to be jetted the carb can be adjusted also to get it right if not. The air/ fuel meters tell us what is going on and usually they dont need it but sometimes they will. alot of factors in jetting.
