87 lt250 rear suspension

Do they have the same FullFloater setup as the Zilla?
I stopped to look at a roadside 4-sale 87 LT250 today and the rear shock setup was different. The shock was vertical with a paralell bar on the swing arm and a rocker arm on the frame under the seat. The bar on the swingarm had a series of holes to adjust ride height. Is that how they are?
The guy was asking $2200. He'll take 1800. The left case was broken, no chain guard. That turned me off.

mines a 89 and i have a full floater system similar to the one youre describing but i dont have ride height adjustment holes ..maybe someone drilled it out?? also the chain guard being broke off must be a common thing on 250R's mines busted off with the bolts still in the case ..oh well guess its time to get out the tap and dye set...

I broke mine off cause I had a case saver, it also took some of my stator cover with it. I just use the stock setup now. if the chain pops and gets wound up on the front sprocket it'll just break the plastic chain guard.
I was thinking of using shear bolts(bolts designed to break off under stress) to hold the chain guard on.
