hey guys, ok here goes! ive been doing a frame up rebuild on my 89. heres the kicker i have NO manual. i have done a complete rebuild (top and bottom) also a fatty pipe and plan on getting a k&n clamp on, but i have no clue what stock jetting (main and pilot) settings are therefore no clue on where to start with jetting. if there is anything i might need to know give me some insight PLEASE!!! i hate to fry a brand new motor...especially considering i bought it as a basket and have never ridden it! i was also told 5oz. of premix per gallon, sound good?? oh by the way its only bored one over standard. suzuki said torque specs are 18-21 for base gasket but i dont know head torque specs. so as you can see the more replies and info i get will be greatly appreciated.

needle jet no. :R-0
pilot jet no.:37.5
starter jet no. :110
OPTIONAL MAIN JETS 87-UP

im in n. carolina and i honestly dont know altitude but i know the bike has a 310 main jet in it now...suzuki also said 5 oz of premix per gallon does this sound correct?? anyone know what that ratio would be? thanks for the specs that will help a lot also anything to watch for as far a blowing out base gaskets , do i need to use sealant or anything i know lt500 was bad for blowing back out of base gasket. does 310 main sound ok and premix....?? sorry im new to 2 stroke world!

again ask your altitude and ill tell ya main jet number as statedin manual as for mix i run 32:1with 91 octane gas hopefully u get other replies on mix. all i can do is give u manual specs as my bike isnt stock and i am in a different altitude and temperature then you. ive seen alot of posts in here froma all over hopefully someones close to you. good luck again and get your altitude ill tell ya book specs.

ok i found my altitude is 900 ft. above sea level. but withl the fatty pipe and clamp on k&n ill need to compensate too im sure.

yes u will have to compensate 0-5000 41-77f degrees for no mods is 220 id leave your 310 in it and work down your better off rich then lean plugs cheaper then a motor haha. check the plug if not rich at 310 go up couple. thats my opinion good luck again.
