Anyone added a spark arrestor (cobra or other) to their LT250r?

Anyone added a spark arrestor (cobra or other) to their LT250r?
I've got a LRD silencer which has no spark arrestor. I called LRD and they said they have discontinued their LT250 stuff and suggested I try a cobra clamp on spark arrestor. Anyone used one on their LT250r yet?
Most of the places I will be riding at require a usfs approved arrestor so I'm gonna have to get one and an add on would be easiest to deal with.
